Real-Time Weld Monitoring
Utilizing real-time inline coherent imaging the IPG Real-Time Weld Monitoring System consolidates weld results into concise and actionable quality data from a single system. Pre-weld monitoring modes of the system include tracking of the seam position, checking the working distance to the material, and looking for gaps, bad fixturing or bad fit-up before processing begins.
Diodes and Side Pumping
A unique technology platform allows IPG products to have higher output powers and superior beam quality at a lower cost than can be achieved by any other competing technology. Adjustable Mode Beam Lasers
Adjustable Mode Beam (AMB) lasers offer the broadest range of beam profile tunability for superior welding quality at high speeds for applications including e-mobility and automotive. AMB virtually eliminates welding spatter which drastically reduces the time and expense of rework, maximizing uptime and overall quality. AMB lasers are available up to 25 kW of total average power to handle the most demanding applications.
Ultrafast Lasers
Ultrafast lasers are well-suited for all standard processing methods such as cutting, drilling, ablating, and structuring in a wide range of materials. The bandwidth of the Ultrafast lasers ranges from nanosecond lasers to ultrashort pulse lasers. Picosecond and femtosecond lasers enable cold processing of the material. This means there is virtually no heat directed at the workpiece.
High Peak Power Fiber Lasers
High Peak Power (HPP) enables running a CW laser in pulsed mode with up to 2X increase in peak power in comparison with CW average power. High Peak Power provides advanced processing capabilities for faster piercing, increased output quality, repeatability and waste reduction. HPP increases overall processing speeds, repeatedly drills clean holes and delivers high quality cuts of intricate parts with fine features while reducing overall laser power requirements.
Deep UV Fiber Lasers
Only IPG provides a unique combination of power, reliability and operating stability promises to extend Deep UV fiber lasers to the 4th Harmonic, making the 257 nm and 266 nm wavelengths affordable and robust enough for everyday industrial use.
DLS Series Lasers
DLS-U-ECO are ultra-compact Diode Laser Systems for industrial heating and drying applications. The DLS-ECO Series announces the arrival of solid-state heating to replace less efficient infrared bulbs and environmentally unfriendly gas fired furnaces. Extremely high power conversion efficiency along with exceptionally low impact on the ambient factory environment make the Cost-of-Ownership and Return-on-Investment of a diode furnace compelling.
