ILT Medical Systems
ILT medical laser machining systems are designed for high-precision applications where software control, verification and process traceability are critical system requirements. Medical device manufacturing, aerospace and micromachining applications benefit from these highly precise systems.
Built on 3-axis (X-Y-Z) and rotation motion platforms, ILT medical laser systems can be configured with lasers specifically selected for the target application. Each system comes standard with HMI-2200 control software, which supports fully automated control of all system functions and has robust user account validation, 21 CFR Part 11 compliant time-stamped traceable data records and extensive factory MES integration options. Possessing a full suite of process controls as well as self-check functions, HMI-2200 software comes complete with an extensive library of processing modules and utilities that enable custom application flexibility.
The ILT 1500 is a general purpose laser welding system with up to 3 linear axes and 2 rotary axes. The system produces repeatable high-quality welding with minimal heating of the surrounding part when integrated with quasi-continuous wave (QCW) high peak power lasers.
Standard options include a vision system, integrated power meter, bar code reader and factory control integration.
The ILT 3000 is a multi-function laser processing system with a Cartesian X-Y-Z platform and coordinated rotary motion axes that can accommodate larger parts as well as offering extensive customized part tooling. The platform can be used to apply successive laser processing steps by robotic transfer of parts between processing modules within the system to reduce part handling time, greatly improve cycle time and ensure quality control.
Customization options include COS (Cell Operating System) compliance, 3-position material indexer, scanned beam delivery with through-lens vision, and extended vision options for full-part feature finding and position correction.
The ILT Glovebox laser processing system is a fully integrated, monitored and controlled laser processing environment that has one or more vacuum bakeout ovens and configurable antechamber options. The Glovebox incorporates a multi-axis motion platform designed for precision laser welding of hermetic medical devices, aerospace electronics and semiconductor components. Optional double-valve soot removal systems ensure safe collection of reactive materials such as titanium.
HMI-2200 software allows users to control software and hardware components from a single interface with real-time as well as historical data logging for quality assurance and compliance.
Additional options include gas dryers and mixers, light curtains and soot removal.
The ILT Versa Small Tube Cutter (STC) is a Class 1 system designed for precision machining of stents as well as small tubes for the medical device and aerospace industries. Options include 2 and 4-axes configurations, selection of laser types, wet-cut containment box, barcode and part identification systems.
