Laser Cutting Brass and Copper

Discussion of the role of high power density in cutting reflective metals such as copper and brass, with guidance for selecting laser processing paramaters. A method for high-speed laser cutting copper and brass while achievening uniform high-quality, dross-free processing using a high-brightness IPG fiber laser is presented.
