Optimized Design for High-Speed and High-Precision Processing

- Optional 320 x 150 mm scan field increases productivity by better matching common battery module dimensions

- Vision system detects part misplacement and corrects weld position via closed-loop control with scanning system
- Corrects for part placement errors up to ±12 mm from nominal, simplifying the design requirements of the part feed system

ILWS 3000 Software
The ILWS is controlled by Galileo, a proprietary software package from IPG. Running on the industrial PC embedded in the ILWS system, Galileo provides integrated control of the welding site location and all welding process parameters, including laser source power and pulse settings and scanner path control.
Software components of ILWS options including Vision Alignmentalso run on the same controller units, and are fully integrated with Galileo for seamless transfer of data regarding part positioning.
