Stainless Steel Cladding - Manufacture of Gear Teeth

Laser Additive Manufacturing is shown with the laser deposition of gear teeth on a stainless steel tube. Equipment is a 10 000 W IPG fiber laser with cladding head attached to a 6-axis robot in a Class 1 laser cladding workcell.
