Deposition of Titanium by Laser Assisted Cold Spray

Demonstration of deposition of a titanium coating by laser assisted cold spray. Laser assisted cold spray (LACS) coatings have high adhesion and low porosity. The LACS process has fast deposition rates and is compatible with multi-material laser additive manufacturing.
